I can't agree more of how annoying it is to read junk mail. Each time I
get a piece of junk mail, I'll let the spammers ISP know (politely) that
I am against it; and the spammers account is usually terminated; most of
the time, it is within hours of when it all started. Just don't start in
the first place!

Advertising on the internet is ok; just as long as you don't send out
unsoliticed e-mail saying "this is a 1 time mailing", or send out a ton
of ads in the wrong areas of usenet; this makes your company look bad. I
suggest that one of the safest ways to advestise on the net would be to
sponsor a popular home page; and/or advertise your home page in a
newspaper or magazine/etc; (that's just like sponsoring the newspaper);
this way the customer is happy, and the customer is always right (even if
you've never done business with them in the past, since they may be a
future customer). Get my drift?

I'd also like you to keep in mind of the Blacklist of Internet Advertisers:

and always keep your business image & rep positive; and good luck with
your Online Advertising. ttyl!
