Pointing to customized pages is a good idea, but if you don't want to go to
the trouble of making different versions, you can just have each of the
sites point to a different alias of your original home page. Suppose your
home page is:

homepage.html

Then create aliases for it:

homepage1.html
homepage2.html
homepage3.html

and point each of the ad sites to the respective alias. You will then be
able to have accurate counts of referrals from each site when you process
your access log.

There is one potential problem with either of these approaches. If someone
links to your site from the ad and then decides to create a link to your
site on their page at the alias address, then counts will get skewed. You
can check if this has happened by looking at referral data in your access
log.
