Yes, they do:

http://www.banner-net.com/

there is not much information there though.

Here are some (stupid) questions that I would like to ask this mailing
list. Do you think that there are currently 'too many' or too few views on
the Web?

At this time there are just few retailers, such as Double Click,
Commonwealth, WWIN, IMGIS, BURST, and now IBN, perhaps, others. The banner
exchange technology doesn't seem to be owfully complicated (I still
appreciate if somebody will point to a source code, though I don't really
expect such offer).

Soon many companies will develop or license banner exchange technology
(perhaps, purchase when someone gets broke as MediaMarket did), as well as
hire some staff and start banner ads marketing. The manufacturers of the
exposures (i.e. the websites) will probably rely less on their own
sponsors than on these wholesalers. The advertisers will also deal with
the retailers and not with the manufacturers (or may be even some
wholesailers will appear shortly).

There certainly will be more competitors, but there will be more
advertisers as well.

What prices should the manufacturers of the exposures (i.e. websites)
expect in such situation? Is there any forecast possible?

Do I understand it right, that the more exposures one manufactures,
the higher is the price at which she or he can sell it (since zie causes
a wholesaler less trouble)? I am not talking about direct
media-advertiser contacts here.

Is such pricing system going to produce further increase of the small
celebrities-pictures-rich sites? (That's certainly a movement in our
group, where some people signed contracts with Moscow's theaters and
writers).

Sincerely yours,
Leonid Delitsin
