Coming from a Radio background and now selling Radio over the Internet, I
know that it takes a minimum of 3 exposures to an advertisement to be
effective. We used to tell prospects and clients that 5 exposures would
almost ingrain the message on the brain. People are exposed to thousands of
messages daily, thus frequency (or numerous exposures) is necessary in order
to have an effective advertising campaign.

More so on the Internet, where most sites are predominantly silent,
frequency is crucial, since they must rely on catchy graphics and phrases to
lure the attention of a prospect.
