And my emphasis is that you are doing yourself
(or your client) a disservice by ONLY having a Web
page. One has to make a commitment to the Web as
a means of communication.

Throw an ad on the radio to see if it makes people
call? Fine. Try out a billboard to see if people
will drive in? Great. Why not the same for the Web?

You already have a telephone and know how to
answer it. You already have a front door and know
how to open it for customers. If you put up a Web
page with only your phone number and address,
you are missing the communication point and
wasting money.

Time to put an e-mail response plan in place complete
with guidelines and policies for the people who
will be your online representatives.
