>From today's Advertising Age, this item suggests (at least to me) a rapidly
maturing click-counting industry, given the link with the Audit Bureau of
Circulations.
"Webthreads joins fray of tracking companies
"New company Webthreads, Vienna, Va., Monday launches standalone
counting, tracking and dynamic content-generating software for $895.
Targeted to Web site managers, the company this fall will add ad management
tools to the product.
"Webthreads is also in talks with the Audit Bureau of Circulations
about forming a technology partnership. Separately, ABC on July 15 named
two-year old Web analysis tools from Interse, Sunnyvale, Calif., as the
first products its verification committee officially approves."
