WWW user #'s

I'm relatively new to the list and this is my first question. A little
background on myself first. I just recently concluded working with a very
popular internet site in the automotive realm and am know looking for other
opportunities in this area.

I am trying to get a ball park figure on the number of WWW users at any one
time. I am soliciting possible employers who do not yet have a web
presence for the establishment of/employment in interactive marketing and
would like to include this number as point of reference.
