At Ecola, the average click-rate for all advertisers is right around 2%. I
track this daily, and so far for June the site-wide average is 1.96%.

This ranges from a high of 5%-6% to a low (for test banners) of 0.4%

I've been told one of the larger search engines has an average of about 1.5%.

I think "click-rate" may be the next frontier of advertiser education,
following the ever-popular "hits". Does anyone know of any reliable
published information on this?
