I've been lurking for a few days as a new member, but thought I should chime
in here. My page views (also not hits) are a lowly 600 to 700 per month.
However, I focus on a very narrow niche (health professionals in South
Africa). My advertisers pay me a flat rate of R2800 per month, this is
about $636 per month. This makes my rates about $1 dollar per page view.

Yet my advertisers understand the niche, and feel that they are getting
value by targeting that niche. Any thoughts?
