It is quite possible to sell ads for a list, but in this case, it might be
really tough to do so.

Not yet, to my knowledge. But I do not try to track this point.....

This depends on who your readers are.

I'd say less, but it really depends on who your readers are, and how they
respond to your advertising

Of course.

This is a very amorphous group Mike. Can you see how this may not permit
much targeting for an advertiser? Compare the targeting value of your
list with, for example, a list of automotive design engineers, or
financial journalists, or stock analysts, or mountaineering enthusiasts.
