John,
I don't know why people just don't get used to using the delete key?
What's the big deal?
Who's net is it?
I'd say it belongs to the owners of all the telephone
cable.............But in our hearts most of us would want a totally free
net owned by nobody and used by everybody.
Legislation you say? Yes,inevitable I imagine...........Again the simple
answer is to just use the delete key in the instance of junk
mail........Also anybody want to define junk mail for me?I've cought a few
that were helpful to me .Is that junk mail because it was unsolicited?I'd
much rather pick through junk mail in hopes of finding something
interesting than never even getting it at all.
How about "legislation" that makes the labeling of "junk" mail manditory
with a fine if caught sending unmarked spam!
The spam police.........
Coming soon...........

[Moderator's note. For fairness, I'm letting this post go through to
express another point of view. But the spam vs. no spam debate has been
beaten to death on this list, and I see little value in rehashing it again.
All you could want to read on it and more is available in the archives.
Richard has returned, and I'm now passing moderation back to him. These
last few days have made me even more certain that he is underpaid!
