A number of web traffic analysis packages will perform the
calculation you need. At our site we use Marketwave's HitList product
for this sort of thing. What HitList does is compute the number of
"visits" that your site receives. A single visit is usually made up
of more than one page hit. So, you might have something like 100,000
hits in a day but only 10,000 visits. The algorithm for computing a
visit is not precise and probably can't be made precise given dynamic
IP assignment, proxy caches, etc. that all make the correlation
between individual HTTP requests a bit difficult to compute. For info
