Um. A few months ago when I approached Healthgate for permission to link to their site from
South Africa (you see at the time there was a notice on the Healthgate site which said that the
free medline search was available in the US only, so I thought it polite to ask) I corresponded
with someone whose name and e-mail I discarded, having taken there responses in good faith - but
it is the e-mail address I got from their site (or it may have been the ad in Wired - I don't
recall). We went through the following steps in a series of e-mails, first, I'm welcome to link
to the site - yes I'm welcome to provide a graphical link to the site, yes, Im welcome to front
end it as long as Healthgate's advertsiers get exposure. Now that is exactly what I do, I
provide a front end graphical link to your web pages. As you point out, every search result
page carries your advertisers and is to your benefit - to the extent that your advertisers want
exposure in South Africa.

Green could do this if you wish.

Um, no I'm not likely to do that - am I?

Sorry, as I (and you) pointed out - your ads are seen.

It would be difficult to compel me - but I am happy to do that. My total page views range
between 25 and 30 per day, of which 2-3 click through to the Medline search page - add that to
your hit rate for your advertisers if you want.

As I've pointed out, I don't (and will not) "scrape off" your ads 9if this is even possible).

Imapct for your advertisers? 2-3 more views of your ads per day.
