I am also a new subscriber to this discussion list and have been reading the digest for a few days. I am willing to listen and learn too.

I am trying to establish a set of reliable on-line resources for
gathering competitive banner data. What I mean by that is, is there any
search engine that can search for banners only. Also can anyone
recommend reliable/accurate research firms that analyze banner spending.
I want to be able to quickly know what my clients competitors are doing
and even spending. The answer to this question becomes important when a
strategy to buy on-line advertising is based on what a clients
competitors are doing. I would like to invite comment as to media buying
strategies that you have used with corporate clients that have been
considered successful.
