MLM Strategies Online???

When budgeting for an advertising campaign the expenses can be quite high. It
is easy enough to get the hit rates up, but of course there is no guarantee
as to the actual success of the campaign. It might be necessary to spend more
to maintain good sales levels. A lot of companies use MLM strategies to
reduce their involvement in the advertising campaign, and as we know, are
very successful and save a lot of time as their network expands rapidly, and
save a lot of advertising expenses.

Can these MLM advertising principles be adapted to Online?

Recently I came across a software package that according to an attorney at
law that I consulted is totally legal. It deals with the power of duplication
and the transfer of information, services or products. In a nutshell it uses
the principle of MLM to sell itself on.

In todays world of technology and as I become more involved Online, it would
be interesting to know if there is a way that such a software program could
be adapted to work via the internet, especially for information transfer. Is
it possible to build a MLM organisation over the internet?

I know it is easy to market the concept, but what about the recruiting,
payment, and software transfer aspects? Is it possible to advertise and build
such an organisation without involving the Fedex's, UPS' and USPS, as well as
print media and other usual forms of advertising?

Any ideas?
