I've heard that Goldmine is excellent. I just downloaded the demo version
but it lacks the features of the registered version (about $300). It seem to
be the premier contact and e-mail manager. It'll do things like allow a
tickler system (send out reminders or follow-up e-mail in a set number of
days, etc.) and allows you to manage a large database of clients -- keeping
information on them, etc. Look into it.
