I'm not sure if this is what you want, but here's a suggestion. Take a look
at Alpha Software's NetMailer. It allows you to create a database of
contacts (or import an ASCII delimited file) and merge those contacts with a
form letter that you also create. I use it to personalize messages going to
several people at once. It's an off the shelf package for around $50.
