My personal opinion is that I would prefer to be asked before someone
linked my site to theirs. While additional exposure is a welcome thing, I
would definitely want to know something about the site linking to mine.
Yours sounds like it will be a wonderful resource for those in the Boston
area - ready access to local information, etc.
You could, of course, just offer the chance to advertise (place a banner)
on your site for a fee.
