I recently saw an article in 'Internet' magazine which said a company called
Exploit (http://www.exploit.com/) can mysteriously move your site up search
engine results for a relatively small fee. I sent an enquiry to Exploit (3
weeks ago) and have yet to receive a reply, but the magazine said it worked
for them.

We have tried putting hidden words into our home page which some search
engines might pick up. I am not sure how the big search engines sort the
results (amount of times that word appears on the page, or where the word
appears?). Any ideas?

Most of our traffic comes from searches, so it would be useful to be higher
up the results list.
