Well, here are my comments on this idea/site.

Consumer side:
If I was a consumer why would I visit this site?
What would I get out of it?
Can I get bargins or discounts that I cant get else where?

Company side:

How can this promote my marketing objectives?
Once a person sees my ad and enters my site will they return?
How will the site be promoted?
Why should I use your site and not xyz...

Once you can answer these questions, and only you can at this point. You
have the outline for success or failure. If you cant answer them, then
well...

Now, on a similar note I know of a site that the ads are the content in a
similar manner to this idea. It is www.e-coupons.com

The content on that site is coupons that can be used to get discounts or
other incentives from the compaines on the site. I first heard of this site Oct 95,
so it has been around at least a year.

Hope it helps.
