More people probably know about the META tag that re-directs the user:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="1; URL=file.html">

When properly used, they can serve a good purpose. For example see the NRC
Handelsblad (http://www.nrc.nl/W2/Nieuws/vandaag)

(disclaimer: apart from being Dutch, I have no ties to this newspaper)

Another META TAG that could be useful, I just found somewhere on the net. I
had never seen before, and thought I'd share it with the group. The tag;

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">

seems to stop caching (at least using Netscape 3.0, Win 3.11) of pages. This
works when people use the [Back] button and should allow for more page hits
and therefore more advertising possibilities :-)

There is of course a downside to it, and that is when the page is big, and
contains lots of graphics, it will slow the user down, and he/she might not
like it.

Does anybody have any experiences with this tag? I assume it is browser
dependant. Is that correct?
