Striking a middle ground here (I hope): If one loads a page to get it up
in the listings, does it necessarily skew the process for everyone?
Let's say you're selling surfboards, for instance, and you put in a bunch
of spandex stuff about surfboards, skegs, hangin' ten, etc. Wouldn't that
simply float you up (so to speak) for people who are interested in
surfing, pushing you above all the nonsense hits that we inevitably get
whenever we are searching for something (and, also, above some valid
hits...)?
Putting sex fifty times in spamdex text on a surfboard web site, on the
other hand, is completely unscrupulous (and stupid of course), and skews
the results for all those virtuaous souls who are looking for real
content.... <g>
