My company -- Andover Advanced Technologies -- has been demonstrating a
new product we recently introduced (VideoCraft GIF Animator) by conducting
a banner campaign which linked to a) The Amazing Instant Online Banner
Maker -- which enables you to create your own animated banner
(http://www.andatech.com/vidcraft/banners.html) or b) The Amazing
Morphing Online Ballot Box, which lets you create a humorous morph between
one of the major presidential candidates and a major political figure
(http://www.andatech.com/vidcraft/camp96/index.html) -- so you can create a
morph going from Bill Clinton to Rush Limbaugh for example.
In both cases, there is a definite entertainment value, you can download
the results of your interactivity, you can link to further information
about VideoCraft GIF Animator and you can download a 30 Day trial version.
And it's been pretty successful. We listed them both in Yahoo and got great
results. Our banners ran on ZDNet, Slaughterhouse and DaveCentral and got a
lot of activity from there as well.
So, if there is a link between the interactive entertainment and the
product or service you are trying to sell, I'd strongly encourage you to
give it a shot!
