This is the premise of my web business. No revenues yet to speak of, but
this is a very targeted audience of architects and specifiers. Specs-Online
will list all manufacturers of specified construction products with Internet
Web Sites. I have several manufacturers who have agreed to pay for ads and
banners in their product sections once their sites are completed and ready
for release.

These manufacturers are accustomed to paying Dodge McGrawHill $20-200,000
per year and see that they can cut the costs of product information
distribution by reducing advertising in literature collections and putting
the information available on the Internet.

My site was a low cost to develop and low cost to maintain so I can be
patient. Traffic is good considering the narrowness of the target audience
and the scarcity of manufacturers actually on the web with real information.
My promotion is being done in magazine articles in a few slected trade
magazines and working the trade show floors.
