Ad Rates for Non-Profit Just coming on the web...

I have a non-profit client who also generates a lot of revenue off their
print materials by selling ad space on their calendar. I am going to be
reproducing this calendar on their www site, and was wondering what
approach anyone else has used regarding costing this out. This client is a
large international organization with offices in every country in the
world.

They currently sell space in their calendar at $2500 for a 1.5"x1.5" block
(roughly the size of a day/date square), and have about 100 ads sold in
this calendar. Should they offer the same/similar web space and link?
Nearly all their advertisers have a web site. I have no idea of how to
approach this from a valuation standpoint for this year's calendar. Next
year they will be able to sell a combined web/print ad rate.

I was going to recommend a 50% rate for a weblink. But this is just off
the hoof. The general traffic rate is not important at this site, but
rather, the decision-maker traffic is, as the people who would visit it are
governmental import/export officials from the various countries, along with
industry leaders.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

Best Regards,

Steve Glover
