NONE: Can you help?

Can you help?

I'm developing a web site which could be of interest to anyone who
wants to promote their own site without parting with huge sums of
money! The Internet Promise Auction will sell donated products and
services to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to a good
cause. This means that you can donate a 'promise' and in return get
your site advertised to people who are looking to buy.

I have already persuaded a reasonable number of businesses to donate
a wide range of interesting products. The first auction is due to
start on November 1st 1996. I have contacted the computer press (in
the UK) and will follow this up with press releases to the newspapers
- this is well covered as I work for one of the largest conservation
NGO's in the UK and we have a good press office. What I really need
is someone who can help me (or at least guide me) to promote the site
on the internet - needless to say I don't have a budget to pay for
this service!

I'm sure this idea can work, if it does anyone could donate a product
or service to charity and in return receive free advertising i.e.
everyone benifits. You can help make it a success by:

1. Adding a link to the Internet Promise Auction from your own site.
2. Displaying a banner ad on your site
3. Teaching me a bit more about how to promote a site on-line.

Please contact me if you have any suggestions or if you can help. You
can find the Internet Promise Auction at

Thank you.
