I'm putting together a marketing/promo plan for an online service and
one avenue that I'm considering is approaching OEMs of computer products
(used by our target market) about including a flyer/brochure about an
online service in the packaging of their products. Does anyone have any
experience with this sort of activity? I'm interested in understanding
the business model here, i.e. what type of payment is involved to the
OEM (is is a % of sales, an upfront fee, etc.), and what is the expected
hit rate from this type of effort?

Any thoughts or suggestions in this regard would be greatly appreciated!
