NONE: Has Commonwealth fled to Rio with our money?

Has Commonwealth fled to Rio with our money?

I've noticed that I've been unable to load a banner or visit
Commonwealth's web site since Friday. I can't get to any site
via traceroute from a few shell accounts I've tried. This is unbelievably
flaky behavior even by their standards. I'm beginning to wonder if
they've given up and left for good.

Personally I've been more concerned by Commonwealth's flakiness than their
ever changing policies. I realize that this is a developing industry and
that things need a chance to evolve. What I don't like is: 1) They make
changes with little or no advance notice. 2) After changes their
Leaderboard is down for weeks for reprogramming (last few months it is
down more than up. 3) Their site is unreachable on an unusually frequent
basis. 4) Even when their site is up, sometimes it takes several minutes
to load a banner.

All of these tend to increase the nervousness and stress of member sites
who are constantly wondering just what the heck is going on. The last
too also contribute to reflect poorly on the member sites by giving the
impression that the member site itself is slow and unprofessional. This
is not the impression I like to leave with the users. They also mean
that there are many ad opportunities that go unseen entirely because
Commonwealth's site is unreliable.

Personally, unless I see something to ease my mind in the next few days,
Commonwealth is history on my sites.
