Hi all:

I subscribe to a number of lists (16) like this and there have been a lot
of ongoing discussions on Spamming. A question. What is the difference
between Spam in the form of sending an e-mail to somebody who doesn't want
it and paid "advertising" on a list? If the spammer paid for his list of
e-addresses, isn't that the same as a "paid advertiser" on a news list?

I'm confused.
