I agree, in the models of early TV ie "Maxwell House sponsors Classic
Movies" we pitched one of our clients on "Sponsored Content" for subtle
branding purposes. We decided upon using one of their main demographics for
the sites target. We created http://www.officemanager.com , which is a site
in containing information and links that would be useful to the "office
manager" during the course of their business day. The site is in frames and
each page is "sponsored by Toshiba". We launched this site in the beginning
of January and to date have received an average of 500,000 hits per month.

In addition to banner ads we will use sponsored content as one of the
avenues to continue exploring through the next year. We are offering
information and not just a sell message with these sites. We maintain the
product info for the company on the "corporate" site and allow for them to
have another online presences as well. We predict this model will begin to
catch on and develop more within the next few years.
