I am the Vice President for Corporate Communications and Public Relations
for Play4Prizes.com/ We are in the business of gaining sponsors who wish
to have in depth visitors. In other words, our advertisers want more than
just banner visits or simple click throughs. They seek the visitor to
spend some focused time on the site learning about their product or service.
We have some trouble communicating this message to potential
advertisers/sponsors. They are familiar with the traditional banner ad and
click-throughs, but our concept of more in depth visits is often hard to
communicate.
Our site: http://www.play4prizes.com has a simple concept. Visitors
register with us (providing certain demographic information). Once
registered they can play some simple, imaginative and fun games with the
opportunity to win cash and incentive prizes. The cash awards are often
over $100. To gain the answers to the games/puzzles, they click-through to
the sponsors site and often spend 5-10 minutes viewing the sponsors site to
complete the game.
What recommendations does this esteemed panel have for conveying the
benefits of our site to potential sponsors?
We think the benefits of this type of in depth visit include: real time (in
depth impressions) on the sponsor's site, visitors learn about the
sponsor's product/service, they often return to the site, and strong
demographics are acquired.
Please let me know your suggestions.
Thanks, Richard Bernhardt
