Hello O-A'ers,

There has been much discussion in this group about Web advertising
Networks; specifically about the different business models that are out
there. They include: CLIQNOW!, DoubleClick, Commonwealth, Petry, and
WebConnect to name a few. All have different business models. To further
the goal of increasing all on-line advertising expenditures, I believe the
time has come to work together in creating a higher level of awareness of
exactly what each network has to offer both affiliate Web sites as well as
advertisers. A few topics to cover may include: Targeting capabilities,
campaign management, network models, unduplicated reach, content, etc.

I call upon media buyers as well as Web publishers who have any knowledge
of, or experience with, advertising networks to share this information with
the rest of us. Together we can make the advertising potential of the
Internet a reality today.
