I went to the Steen page, and I didn't find it intrusive at all. But, with
the question being asked they could find out much more useful info from
adding a couple more choices. Now, if they asked what my outdoor budget
was on the index page I might be chased away, but adding "Other" and "Been
Here Before" (unless they drop a cookie, so they don't have to ask again)
would make there numbers more accurate and telling.
