I'M WRITING A...
----------------
Date: Wed, 30 Jul 1997 11:25:23 -0700
From: Christopher Ditto <cditto_at_ikonic.com>
I am writing a book and am looking for both good and bad interesting
firsthand stories about advertising on the web. Please send me any
anecdotes or post them to the mailing list.
I would prefer stories that are concise and include the names of the
companies involved, names always make stories more real.
Have you or any of your advertisers done any crazy stunts to drive traffic
to a site?
Has a campaign you have been involved with done anything unique or new?
How about techniques for traffic that have flopped or proven unsuccessful?
How about ad servers and banner swap programs?
Please give me permission to print these stories in an online advertising
chapter of a book.
