That is not a true statement for many
Internet users. I consider all unsolicited
fax or email to be spam! When I receive an
unsolicited fax or email, I will not buy that product
from that company no matter how much I am
interested in the product or how good the product is,
ever. And I will tell others not to buy the product from
that firm. As an advertiser you should bear the costs of
advertising. When you shift the cost to me, you're proving
that you are not an ethical company, and if I can't trust you
to operate ethically as an advertiser how can I trust your
product or any dealing with your company?

Yes, there are a lot of people on the 'Net who agree that
if they want the product it isn't spam. But there are a lot
like me. The question is, is it worth alienating people like
me, when it is so easy to do it right! Andy Rebele was
right on with his observations!
