Hi,
I wrote earlier this year about sponsorships versus banners
with respect to our highly rated Santa Claus site, CLAUS.COM.
After trying to get sponsorships placed for months, we decided the
work was not worth the incredible hands-on effort required to lead
prospects through what you could do for them. So we broke the site
into smaller sections and went with banners. We did not sell what
we had hoped, but we had reasonable success. The important thing is
that we are on our way to getting 8 to 10 Million page views in the
5 weeks before Christmas. The bigger audience should help us next
year.

Go check your Naughty or Nice rating on the site! http://www.claus.com/

Happy holidays
