Hi Richard & Fellow Subscribers,
We just launched what we think is a novel marketing concept, targetted
specifically at those small Netrepreneurs like ourselves, who are at the
moment too small to have a decent marketing budget.
We got together 15 sites to form a Marketing Cooperative. Each participating
site pays in $30, of which $25 goes directly into the pooled advertising fund
and only $5 is deducted as fee for webhosting their banners on our server.
Sites get to vote on which joint promotions to mount. A monthly report
showing promotions, costs incurred and clicks-through achieved are emailed
to participating sites at month end.
There are no enrollment or membership fees levied at this time. Put bluntly,
we are helping others in order to help ourselves. A monthly budget of $30
can barely doing anything at all. Yet the monthly pooled advertising fund
of $500 or more is a totally different story. It enables us to purchase
banner clicks-through, press releases, different ezines sponsorships etc
to drive traffic to the Cooperative Mini-mall where the various clickable
banners are displayed. Participating sites thus enjoy much greater
exposure than they otherwise would with their own $30.
We expect another 5 sites to sign up for January. There are thus only 10
vacancies left as the Cooperative is limited to 30 sites. Sites which join
late are also not penalized as banner slots are allotted each month in the
order that the monthly checks are received.
We think that our concept offers a unique way of leveraging your promotion
dollars and efforts by Co-Promoting with Non-Competitors. Do check it out
