art), I can tell you that the one web ring I have now accounts for less
than 3.5% of the traffic.

However, I'd be most hesitant to put a ring on a commercial site
whatever the return. From my perspective, web rings are not tools of the
professional. Then again, if you set up a special page just for the
ring and so only people who surf via rings would see it, perhaps it
would not be a problem.

We don't use them at the other site I manage (a commercial site).
