Unlike banners, which have a high probability that a human being
is interacting with the Web at the time of viewing, Pointcast advertises
in a screen-saver. (or am I showing my total ignorance?). My screen
saver comes on when I am not doing anything, which usually means
that I've walked away from my desk. Even if I am there, I'm either
busy doing something else (telephone), and though I don't have Pointcast,
I can imagine that if I *were* to be watching my screen, it would be
in a passive (non-browsing) state.

When you look at CPM, consider what the M is measuring. (i.e.,
one thousand *what*?)
