Our family business is having difficulty deciding what URL to use for our
Web site, Awesome Angels Online. We produce and sell Awesome Angels
guardian angel dolls, a product designed for both the toy and gift markets.

Last spring, we decided on www.awesome-angels.com and opened up a web site
and made the typical mistake of giving people absolutely no reason to go
there. I am now revamping the site and, among other things, we are
changing the URL to www.awesomeangels.com, as the hyphen was confusing to
some when trying to publicize the address in print or when talking to
someone. Then, someone suggested that since Awesome Angels had little
brand recognition, we should have a URL letting people know what the
product actually is and use some variation of www.guardianangels.com (that
particular one is taken).

My question is this: would there be any drawbacks to using all three
names, pointing to the same or identical sites? We would like to continue
to use the original since some people do know it and it's out there on a
lot of search engines. The non-hyphenated version of the brand name has
its obvious advantages and the guardian angels URL might give us one
additional, more descriptive entry in search engines. Any feedback on the
pluses and minuses of doing this?

Thanks,
