Hey all,

I just wanted to share with you that we passed the 3000 member mark this
weekend. As of right now, we are at 3,177 subscribers!

If curiosity about where we stand as far as subscribers has ever kept you
up at night, our incredibly talented system administrator has come to your
rescue. He wrote a cool little script that counts up the subscribers to the
list and updates the number given on the Sponsor's page of the List's web
site. You can see it at:

Look at the second paragraph on the page, first line; which starts: "The
Online Advertising Discussion List has..." The script updates the number
once a day. (Around 2:00 am, if I am not mistaken.)

Since we have so many new subscribers, it is probably a good idea to review
some of the basic list information.

The Online Advertising Discussion List focuses on professional discussion
of online advertising strategies, results, studies, tools, and media
coverage. The list also welcomes discussion on the related topics of online
promotion and public relations. The list encourages sharing of practical
expertise and experiences between those who buy, sell, research and develop
tools for online advertising; as well as those providing online public
relations and publicity services. The list will also serve as a resource to
members of the press who are writing about the subject of online
advertising and promotion.

This list is moderated and the number of posts is kept to about 10 per day.

without any signature or other words. Please check that you spell the word
UNSUBSCRIBE and the e-mail address correctly, or it will not work.

If you receive a message back indicating that your e-mail address "is not a
member of list 'online-ads'", then please send an e-mail, **with your
subscription e-mail address**, to me at owner-online-ads_at_o-a.com and
explain what happened. I will then remove you manually.

Such errors usually occur because you subscribed using a different address
than your e-mail program reports as your return address.
