Most "spiders" index all the links that they can access. They follow all
links on a page until they either encounter a dead end or no new links.

If you setup just one static page that allows the spider to retrieve record
1 of your database in a way that the returned page will also have a link to
record 2 and that page to record 3 and so on, all of your information
should get indexed by the spider. When visitors search the index for
something they will get a link to one of those pages.

You could simply display that page to the visitor (you could hide the link
to record x somewhere down below or in background-color text, etc.) or you
could (based on User-Agent) display a different page to a search engine
than a browser.
