Position Title: Interactive Sales and Marketing Consultant
Description:
Join the Interactive Team at Community Newspaper Company thatís bringing
the Internet to suburban Massachusetts communities. We are seeking a
salesperson to develop online advertising opportunities with local
businesses through our Town Online series of Web sites.
You would work with and train existing print salespeople, as well as make
independent sales calls, for Interactive Media advertising products. You
must possess strong experience with the Internet and World Wide Web. You
should have a strong understanding of Internet commerce, knowledge of web
site design and the ability to pull together a comprehensive Internet
marketing plan for a business. Ideal candidate must move quickly, change
direction easily, do "whatever it takes."
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years' of proven track record in
advertising sales. Experience in high tech/digital media market preferred.
Strong team working and consultative selling skills are a must.

Community Newspaper Company is a subsidiary of Fidelity Capital. We
publish 118 local newspapers throughout eastern Massachusetts and have over
1.1 million total household circulation across 140 towns. Our's is a very
desirable, highly wired demographic. Our Town Online project is creating
content rich, relevant local sites for each of these towns and provides an
optimal environment for advertisers to reach their local audience.
