I do not feel that this new form of banner signals the end of anything.
Banners have been making a logical progression since their inception.
There has recently been html banners with pull down menu choices that bring
users to different areas within a site, image map banners that do the same,
shockwave banners that allow the users to play games (Hewlett Packard Pong
Banner). A banner that allows a user to perform a transaction is just the
next step in a fully interactive banners. Users can utilize a site without
even going to browse through the site, they can view the pages they need to
view exclusively and will hopefully return later to browse the site if they
were happy with the results. This potentially builds a strong repeat user
base, which the net needs to continue to grow as it is.

Q: Is it true that advertisers pay no commissions in the Adbot Network?
A: That's right. If you win an auction, what you bid is what you pay.
