A number of news stories have come out in recent days on the law suit
against Total News. If you are not aware of it, you can read one story at:

CNN, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal have claimed that
TotalNews is infringing on trademarks and copyrights by "framing" their
content within its own site, and then selling ad banners in conjunction
with the framed content.

I'm very pleased to see some of the big guns taking legal action to stem
this practice, which I find to be meretricious.

You can reduce the susceptibility of having this happen to your pages by
incorporating the following code into your page's javascript:

if (top.frames.length > 1) {

Of course, you should only use this with pages that are not intended to be
displayed within frames.
