1. Does fixed pricing have any attractiveness or benefits over impression
based ads.

OH YEAH! Fixed prce gets you paid. Impression based takes forever to
calculate and pay and almost is never worth the same as fixed price. Take
the money up front, not "on the come".

2. What types of websites other than search engines are commercially
successful selling ad space.

Searhable databases for information your members need.

3. Any warnings or cautions?

Make sure you get 50% of the gross revenues, not net profits.
