many thanks to Rob Frankel, Mark J. Welch esq, David Beroff and the
others who have answered my initial questions.

The consensus is that fixed pricing overall is better. The qualifier is
of course, "if you can get it".

I think for us since we have a fairly unsophisticated membership, who
like things simple, we will have no problem there.

I have also been asked how do we create a captive audience. Well,
dealing with the membership of a large group helps.

The other thing that really helps is being able to write Web Servers that
serve up data. Live as it happens data, that is useful to that
membership. Preferably that they cannot live without.

We are database developers who program in Omnis, C++, Perl, Assembly etc.
We also create web sites and have written a first class web server called
"net buddy".

It serves up data from Omnis, ODBC, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Informix.
It runs on NT, 95, Mac and Power PC.

You can see this an example of this at our web site
(http://www.iglobal.net/cd)

Thanks again folks.

Respectfully,

Sebastian Ernest

P.s. I wonder if I should write a lower cost banner server? ;-)
