I don't think Mark Welsh or anyone else need worry about whether 15%
commission is appropriate or not - nor need he worry about the big
sites taking it all.

The Web is perhaps the ultimate free market bazaar. The fit will
flourish and the rest will whither away. Advertisers and their chosen
representatives - whether traditional agencies, media buyers, or
specialist agencies - will seek out what they need, negotiate prices,
and given a little time a pattern will emerge; it's early days.

If publishers concentrate on keeping their site fresh and rich in
content, while adapting from visitor feedback, the site will grow and
the bucks will flow.
