I am turning to this list to settle a discussion between my partner Rob and
myself.

There is a new section on the Volition Postcard site (www.volition.com) which
has digital postcards for businesses purposes. I showed Rob how we could use
the "Thanks for your order." card to send to our online customers as orders
come in. He agrees, but also wants to send these out to people who have
expressed interest in our services, but have not yet placed an order. I
think that this would be rude and might even be considered "spam."

As we are new to marketing online, and Rob reads this mailing list, we ask
your opinions on this matter. (I have signed on to list as well so that I
can get the responses, since he will only show me the ones that agree with
him.)
