Debbie, I must confess a certain ignorance as to the exact nature of your
business. And I know the following will sound like sacrilege to many. But
I would recommend, volume of requests permitting, that you send a
physical follow-up through the mail as well as e-mail. Even now, a screen
just doesn't do the same justice to say, a wedding dress, that a design,
photo and fabric sample might.

In our business, potential clients are limited - web sites with a few
thousand *real* dollars to invest in real, physical advertising. So we
keep in touch with our cient base by sending them short news sheets
attached a to samples of our monthly mousepads.
